    • Fundraise for us

    Fundraise for us

Why is Fundraising Important to Us

Our work is made possible by donations or by people fundraising on our behalf. This money helps us support a number of programmes in Edinburgh and the Lothians providing important work across:

    • Physical and Mental Wellbeing
    • Lifelong Learning
    • Regeneration
    • Increased participation in sport, particularly football

What You Can Do to Fundraise for the Foundation

    Organise your own event:

One way to help us is by organising a fundraising event, like a bake sale, a quiz night, a charity football match or a coffee morning.

It will really make a difference and we can also help by supplying a range of support materials, including sponsorship forms and collection tins.

Just get in touch to discuss your ideas and how we can help by emailing [email protected] or calling 0131 656 7062

Take part in a fundraising challenge:

If you are looking to really challenge yourself and at the same time benefit charity we would like to ask you to select the Hibernian Community Foundation as your chosen charity. By doing this you could be sure the money raised through your hard efforts would be used to bring benefit to local communities in Edinburgh.

By fundraising for the  the charitable arm of the Club you support you will gain a real sense of achievement and personal satisfaction.

For more information contact us at [email protected] or call us on 0131 656 7062

    Fundraise at work:

There are many ways in which you can fundraise for us at work. You could encourage colleagues to wear a football shirt to work on a certain day in return for a donation; bake cakes and sell slices to work friends; or recruit co-workers to take up a team challenge, like taking part in the Warrior Run or a quiz night.

One of the best ways you can help us at work is by encouraging your company to select us as their charity of the year. We have an information pack available to anyone who would like to nominate us as their charity of the year which tells you and your co-workers all about the work we do in Sussex and how your support would help the charity. There is also a range of ways we can help businesses that make us their chosen charity, including providing health MOTs to staff or running NCFE accredited disability awareness training courses.

For more information contact us at [email protected] or call us on 0131 656 7062

    Fundraise at school:

We work with schools across Edinburgh, helping young people improve their numeracy and literacy with fun, football-themed sessions. One way to help us is by encouraging your child’s school to hold a fundraising event for us. Non school uniform days are a brilliant way to help us raise money for our disability football sessions and in turn help hundreds of young people who have a disability to play football. Sponsored silences; penalty shoot-out competitions; and cake sales are all fun ways to encourage young people to raise money for charity.
