Hibernian Master Class

Hibernian Community Foundation is delighted to announce a major new innovative new project for 2020.

Starting in January 2020 The Hibernian Masterclass is aimed at Secondary School Students in Year Three at high schools in Edinburgh and East Lothian. Hosted at Easter Road Stadium the six week programme raises awareness of employability options within the wider world of football. The syllabus includes researching different parts of Hibernian Football Club with a view to developing a range of transferable skills ahead of entry to the world of work. Students will improve leadership, communication, business skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

The pupils will then be tasked with a piece of research on a recent event at the club, the groups will work to identify a key player to interview before researching and creating a power point on there specific topic. They will then be graded by their peers and Hibernian Community Foundation.
