What we do Health and Wellbeing Football Fans in Training - Men and Women! The life changing programme, Football Fans in Training - 2020 at Hibernian Community Foundation -You can sign up for free now! *Delayed start date with Corona Virus closedown* The SPFL Trust’s course runs for 13-weeks and offers an alternative to normal “weight loss” programmes. Hibernian Community Foundation staff will demonstrate a variety of ways to alter your lifestyle and diet, all in the home of Hibernian Football Club, Easter Road Stadium. An introduction to a variety of exercise activities in the local area and here at Hibernian FC will also be provided. The main aims of the FFIT programme are to: Feel better about yourself Become more active Lose weight Develop a healthier lifestyle Improve fitness levels Meet like-minded people and become part of the HCF team. If you are aged between 35-65 with a waist size of 38 inches or more, FFIT is the programme for you in 2020. Every 90-minute session is split in half with education and exercise. Every week we discuss a new topic ranging from alcohol consumption, understanding food qualities & labels and balancing your diet. A 45 minute exercise session completes the session with this developing from a gentle walk to a circuit session or a taster session from a community exercise group. Each participant will receive a workbook which provides detail on how to sustain positive changes. FFIT is open to those who enjoy football or those who just want make changes to their health.
